Twice a year we are on germanys beloved island Mallorca to organize our ChampCamps. Especially in spring and in autumn will be there perfect climate conditions for training lessons or tournaments. Beside the fun of learning and the improvement of your play you should have time to relax. Mallorca offers several opportunities to enjoy your perfect holidays.
Here are some suggestions
Who likes to be sporty can ride a bike to Pollenca or even to Cap Formentor, the norternmost point of Mallorca. Otherwise, it is your regenerationday and you can rent a car and discover the island easily and go to Soller or Valdemossa.
Who has not been in Palma, the capitol of Mallorca, should go there. It is a lovely town with a historic center with cute narrow alleys and lots of inviting stores and coffee shops. On your way to Palma is a huge outletcenter, with the typical suspects of big brands and where you might get a good discount.
Another famous thing on Mallorca are the markets. On of the prettiest markets is on wednesday in Sineu. It was a former animal market and is now a highlight for tourists. Therefore it is smart and worth to go there early in the morning, before all the busses with the tourists arrive, to get an impression of real life on Mallorca.
Alcudia
Our ChampCamp is located in the north on one of the nicest and widest beaches of Mallorca in the bay of Alcudia. Alcudia is anmed after the arabic word „Al Kudia“ and means hill, on a small hill the historic center is located, between the two bays of Pollenca and Alcudia.
It is a lovely old town, with cute alleys, a beautiful old townhall and nice coffee shops and restaurants. Every sunday a small market takes place. Port d'Alcudia is totally diefferent, has a small marina and is much more touristic with all the hotels, retaurants and shops close to the beach.
Between Alcudia and Can Picafort lies the preserve area of Albufera – a place where you can discover the swamp with all the flora and animals.
